In September of 2019, our council officially donated our supply of brand-new winter coats to the local YMCA as part of the Knights of Columbus “Coats For Kids” program. We presented 14 insulated coats ranging in sizes from S to XL to the YMCA for distribution under their Christmas giving program. Every year thereafter, we have participated in “Coats for Kids” and have more than doubled the number of coats we have donated. We have partnered with Bethany Retreat’s “Young People Who Care” ministry who identifies families in need within the local community and distributes the coats accordingly.
